Oil in America is a new “awareness” website, housing a series of information in a graphic presentation showing U.S. oil dependency. The charts focus on consumption, importing, exporting, economics, and how it affects us with the price at the pump. The use of an orange color calls attention to important detail while grey represents an industrial feel. The concept for the main logo is a gas pump nozzle cutting through the oil drop. In addition to the website, there would be promotional billboard advertisements posted around the country during the website launch.
